AMP (Accomplishing the Master’s Plan)
Held each Friday night throughout the school year, from 7:30pm
AMP (Accomplishing the Master’s Plan) uses the Word of Life program that is built upon Biblical principles and philosophies. The absolutes of biblical mandates are timeless and cannot be compromised. The key to successful youth ministry is the ability to be contemporary and relevant while living by Biblical absolutes. These Biblical absolutes are Bible study, Quiet time, Scripture Memory, Christian service, and Christian reading.
Club Structure
Ice Breaker - Activity to break down social barriers and provide recreational interaction between students and leaders
Announcements – Provide info on upcoming events
Offering – Teaching giving by practice
Song Time – Sets hearts toward the Lord and His Word
Prayer and Share – Gives opportunity to allow student interaction regarding spiritual topics & allows corporate prayer
Lesson – Teaching of the Word of God
Discipleship Groups/Visitor Group - Gender and age specific groups meet to discuss spiritual disciplines and lesson comprehension and application.
Snack Time - Time of socializing, basketball, ping-pong
Socials
One social is planned for each month. Past socials included:
Laser tag, bonfire, Superbowl, beach party, mini golf, bowling, Christmas party.
Christian Services
One Christian service is planned for each month. Past Christian Services included:
Church clean-up, youth service, Ag Show WOL stall, Olympian games, evangelistic car wash, youth service, Christmas caroling.
